COVID-19 Project
When it became clear that we were in for an extended lockdown period due to the COVID-19 virus, I decided to undertake a challenging project to see me through that time. Although I had not made a military-themed diorama in over 20 years, I decided to take up the challenge once again. I began this project in mid April 2020 and finished it up in early July 2020.
The scene depicts three soldiers of the 82nd Airborne Division helping some French civilians shortly after the D-Day invasion of Normandy in June 1944.
